Killer launch Cancer Research UK Campaign

Our first work for the world’s leading cancer charity, Cancer Research UK, is set to break in a big but decidedly dry way this December.

We’ve been beavering away on their brilliant fundraising campaign which challenges social drinkers to take a one month break from alcohol during January, raising sponsorship money for the charity. We devised the campaign name, Dryathlon™, designed the look and feel and wrote and produced all of the collateral required for the national launch on December 7th.

The challenge

Dryathlon™ targets a younger male audience by focusing on the challenge of going dry for a month and the willpower that takes, rather than the health benefits.

That Killer touch

Our work includes print and outdoor ads, a radio campaign plus support materials including engagement posters, flyers, supporter donation cards and wristbands and the creation of digital assets for use on the Facebook app and promotional microsite.

Wagons roll!

Naturally, the whole Killer office will be participating so we’re already in training for the Dryathlon™. Yes, even in the lead up to Christmas we’ve already had more dry nights than you’ve had hot dinners (so long as you really like sushi).

Join the Dryathletes

Fancy joining us on the wagon? Go on, it’s only for January. And it’s for a brilliant cause. You’ll also feel fitter too. Sign up at cruk.org/dryathlon. Help make this January the driest on record – let’s not drink to that!
